Making Sweet Tea: Film Screening and Q&A with E. Patrick Johnson and John L. Jackson was selected via a peer reviewed process to be presented at the annual meeting of the American Studies Association, to be held November 12-15, 2020, Baltimore, Maryland.

We are also thrilled and honored that Making Sweet Tea is screening as the opening night feature film at the 3rd annual Melanin Pride Festival, being held virtually Oct 9th - 11th, 2020.

Our film is an opening night feature, so please watch Friday Oct. 9th, 2020! After screening, E. Patrick Johnson will also be taking part in a fireside chat about the film. You can purchase tickets to Friday’s screening at this link. On Oct. 17th, we are excited to return to Melanin for a Q&A about the film.

The crew will also be taking part in a Virtual Q&A on Sunday July 12, 2020 from 4:00 PM - 5:00PM GMT.

We can’t travel to the Midwest due to COVID-19, but we will be screening online at the Kansas City FilmFest International 2020.

We will also take part in a Q&A session Wednesday, April 15, 7:30PM CST.
